Experience of Usage of Electronic Means for Support of Credit-Rating System of Students’ Assessment

Аннотация / Annotation:
Experience of implementation of electronic means of support of a credit-rating system of students’ assessment is reprsented in the article. The author proposes unified e-models: ‘e-registration of students’ progress in studies’; ‘discipline technological card’; ‘electronic educational and methodical complex on a discipline’; ‘summary dean’s office e-log’. Such methods as ‘usage of 100 credit-scale of assessment at a university’ and ‘development of a rating of student’s progress in studies’ are described.

Simulation of Charecteristic Oscillations of a String

Charecteristic oscillations of a fixed string are simulated by means of a graphic Flash set. It is shown that development of an animation model includes studying physics of the event, its mathematical model, and ActionScript program. Learning orginzed as this makes accessible difficult physic issues and can be applied to distance education.

Using of Videoconferencing as an Element of Network Home Education for Children

Last years in Russia, as in many developed world countries, people pay attention to new abilities of using of computer telecommunication technologies in organization of distance education. The practice shows that usage of videoconferencing can increase a level of accessibility of education for disabled children, studying at home and children, who miss their classes by external reasons. In case of implementation of distance videoconferencing these children can successfully get the same education as their peers.
