Webometrics is a relatively new science including a qualitative analysis of Internet-contents. A webometric index is an important parameter of activity of scientific and educational institutions. There are original methods of estimation of web-sites based on world experience and taking into account Russian specifics. The results of rating of Russian universities are given in the application.

Simulation of Distribution of Cross Network Delays in a Packet OMNeT++

The object of a research is distribution of cross network delays in a network of an experiment[1]. The purpose is in describing a model of a network in a packet OMNeT++, in setting up network nodes, in investigating a type of distribution of delays of packets in a simulated network in various cases of time-distribution for packet routing. A model of network, a module of applications sending and receiving packets are developed; a type of distribution of delays in random time distribution of packet processing by routers and in case of expotential type of distribution of a processing time is investigated.
