Mechanisms for improving the quality of continuing education through integration of digital learning technologies and open online courses into the educational programs of universities are considered. Understanding of the Textual Information: the Computer Modeling

The processes of formation and loss of skill to understand the texts which consist of given set of words are considered. It is offered the imitating model of training, in which the »texts» consisting of the «sentences» of the certain length are generated. With help of this model the reading and translation of these texts by the pupil’s is simulated; the corresponding graphs are received. Is shown, that the gradual study of separate words leads to the sharp growing of the pupil’s ability to understand the text.

It is necessary to account for the limited time of direct communication or its total absence in e-learning course. So, there is a need to detain student in eLearning environment, and apply motivational mechanisms for achieving positive learning outcomes. In particular, it is provided by using virtual Awards, gamers’ statuses as well as peer to peer interaction. Implementation of the game components into e-course content can provide a certain appeal for training resource and contribute to the motivation of students if the score is not expressed by the ranking points, but by its visualization in the form of a virtual Awards-badge. In the article the example of distance learning course Informatics using built-in components of LMS MOODLE is shown.

The article is devoted to the hermeneutic analysis of media texts of the Russian Internet related to school and university subjects published on the internet from the mid. 1990s to the present. The main components of the picture of Russian education over the last two decades can be identified as follows: young people’s values are being distorted in the direction of material values with the loss of spiritual values; active search for a new value system is going on; the level of education in schools is decreasing; the prestige of higher education remains; the commercialization of the educational sphere, while the character building, moral upbringing component as part of the educational process is being lost; the retardation of school and university from the real needs of society and the state; low status of the profession of the teacher.

The development was carried out by the students’ team in the framework of an organized project activity while mastering the course in physics at the Novosibirsk State Technical University. In the virtual experiment the spherical body’s motion in a liquid under the action of gravity is visualized. A distinctive feature of the technology of the students’ development is the use of concepts of the object-oriented approach when creating the software product for educational purposes.
