One of aspects of modernization of higher school a structural transformation of Russian universities is considered in the article. It is able to reallocate of money flows, which are necessary for financing of higher schools on level of the best world standards, and to give the best chances for getting higher professional education through the system of virtual universities. It will be effect on the system positively.

The approach to solution of an important economic task of optimization of investment portfolio through a method of evolution simulation a genetic algorithm is considered in the article. Its usage enables to solve the main task effectively taking into account forecasted profits and risk of investment planning. The results of practical usage of genetic algorithm for determination of optimal investment portfolio based on real data are represented.

There is an example in the article of building such a scheme of cooperation within the frameworks of a global strategic initiative of SAP Company the University Alliance. Also authors show basic issues of usage of SAP solutions in educational process, a system of professional hosting of SAP solutions and students’ certification.
