On the problems of positioning information science and information processes in the system of modern russian science

The article describes the reasons for the positioning of the problem of information science and information processes in the system of modern Russian science. Formulated the problem itself, the essence of which is to clarify the object of investigation and reasonable integration of a number of highly specialized applied scientific disciplines in the field of information. Suggestions on clarifying the object of research of information science, adjustment range of specialties of scientists, training areas of higher education. The implementation of these proposals would eliminate the overlap and duplication of research, improve system implementation level results, and the main focus of researchers to gain new scientific knowledge.

The computer program to construct electronic lectures and web-presentations is presented. The program forms web-page of preliminary prepared material: text, graphic, photo, video. The resulted web-page can be used as an educational material at lectures, in the framework of students’ self-training work, and also be published without any additional transformations on a site of distant learning. The program provides the convenient interface to user, and to developer it gives the possibility to combine various multimedia materials in thematic units. With two other programs, it makes the tool package for working out electronic resources of a different profile and application. All programs are freeware.

The program complex of the information system PROGRESS was created on technology of Web applications and intended for the automated accounting of pupil individual development. Information system is easily scaled and invariant relative to the contents, allows to create the personal information educational environment for all categories of users: “Administrator”; “Moderator”; “Teacher”; “Pupils”; “Parents”. “PROGRESS” is the restricted access information system. In system input, editing and removal, both separate elements, and tests entirely is provided. Use of tests, both with restriction and without restriction on time is possible. Users of “Pupils” and “Parents” groups have access to results of all passed testings of the pupils.
