Use of Moodle for the Organization of the Web Quest

Аннотация / Annotation:
Development of technology of distance learning leads to change of a technique of the organization of lessons. In work new approach to the organization of a web quest, as reception for formation of motivation during the work with remote information resources is offered. We created a series of templates which allow the teacher to build a lesson a web quest. This approach allows to unify ways of creation of a web quest, to allocate uniform criteria to an assessment, to diversify forms of carrying out lessons.

On the Problem of Distant Learning of Higher Mathematics at a Technical University

A critical review has been conducted on the option of distant learning in mathematics in the contemporary conditions. A well known law in mathematics logic (logical fallacy) states: “Given the initial assumption being wrong – any inference can be considered just”. According to our viewpoint that is directly related to distance education. Substantial funds are being expended leading to a large number of unoriginal developments with highly doubtful and unproven effectiveness and applicability. This paper analyzes some real problems of the higher mathematics teaching in technical universities, including those of a distance learning.

Assessment of Didactic Characteristics of the Physical Experiments Studied at School

With help of pair comparisons method the assessment of the following characteristics of physical experiments is made: 1) complexity of experimental installation; 2) complexity of performance of experiment; 3) complexity of a theoretical explanation; 4) year when scientists for the first time executed this experiment. Distributions of experiments in space of the listed above characteristics are analysed, correlation coefficients between them and absolute difficulties of a theoretical explanation of experiments on scale of the relations are defined.
