About Use of the Method of Complex Amplitudes for Calculation of Diffraction Pictures on the Computer

Is considered the problem of creation of a technique of the solution of diffraction tasks by means of the computer which helps to create students’ understanding of the application of the method of the complex amplitudes to calculate of the diffraction patterns. Examples of the computer programs allowing to construct Cornu’s spiral and simulate the diffraction of a plane wave at the edge of the plate, on a single slit, a circular hole. Article contains 7 drawings received as a result of computer modeling.

Article examines two types of information models: descriptive and prescriptive. Article shows the differences and commonalities in the definition of these concepts. Descriptive information model is disclosed as the development of the information model. This article describes the types of descriptive information model. Article shows these types of models: the conceptual, the substantial, attribute, procedural, referential – descriptive information models. The article reveals the contents of the descriptive information model of relations. Article shows the difference between substantial and attribute models for example the works of Aristotle. Prescriptive information model is revealed as a generalized concept. The article shows that model types. Article shows that the descriptive information model is part of declarative knowledge. Article shows that prescriptive information model is part of procedural knowledge. Both models complement each other in educational processes.
