Cross-Cultural Communications within a Context of an Educational Process: Internet-Technologies Usage

A problem of cross-cultural communications arising within the context of modern university and related to growing streams of international student exchanges, arising a number of foreign students studying at a university on a special faculty is analyzed in the article. Great attention is paid to ability of usage of Internet-technologies in organization of cross-cultural communication, achievement of cultural adaptation of a foreign student or an exchange student; in particular, a mechanism of virtual student communities is considered.

A Matrix Model of Building a New Material for Distance Education

There are some changes within the system of education. It is related to changes of values and purposes of education. There is a need in developing a system of open and continuous education. Development and implementation of new information technologies are described. A system of distance education is a challenging direction in development of education. But this system is based on theoretical researches. Charecteristics of one of forms of organization of a process of distance education such a programmed education are given in the article. Great attention is paid to a system of design of education material for distance education in physics in a form of a matrix model and graphs of educational information. This model enables to structure contents of educational material, to demonstrate logic of a topic, and to place educational material in a special sequence based on logical ties between its main concepts.
