Need and possibility of development by elderly people of online services are investigated and locate. The problem of elimination of information inequality as conditions of development and improvement of distance and virtual learning by elderly people is studied. Experience of education of the Yaroslavl region in the field of development of online services is analyzed. The role and a place of computer literacy in development of distance and virtual learning of elderly people are shown.

Applying of Probabilistic Method for Distance Learning Investment Planning

Machine Learning Methods for Extracting of Professionally Significant Information From Web Forums

We consider how to extract professionally significant information from web forums by means of automatic and language-robust summarization. The forum summarization problem is set as follows: we need to extract those fragments of a forum which provide full knowledge acquisition, i.e. to construct own field of knowledge concerning this technology, or, in other words, to select those fragments of a forum which cover the competences necessary for its use. The existing approaches to a summarization of forums, on the one hand, and to processing of multilinguistic information, on the other hand are considered. The technique of researches – features of selection of forums, the used algorithms and metrics of quality of processing and their adaptation to an objective is described. Results of the pilot studies and their discussion are provided.
