The article is based on an analysis of statistical data on the training of personnel in higher and secondary specialized educational institutions of the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia) for 2018-2024 and the official forecast of personnel needs for 2025–2029 revealed existing disproportions between the personnel training system and the needs of the regional labor market in the creative industries and directions for modernization of personnel policy in this area are proposed.

Perception gap: students’ perceptions of managerial competencies and labor market requirements

The article analyzes the ideas of management students about the importance of competencies for their future careers. Based on the results of a survey of Moscow university students, a systemic imbalance has been identified: an exaggerated assessment of "flexible" skills with a radical underestimation of professional and theoretical knowledge. It is established that less than 20% of students plan to work in their specialty. The hypothesis of insufficient practical orientation of the programs is confirmed, which requires a transformation of the content and teaching methods.
