Substantiates the importance of addressing the demand for a new model of civilization that is able to confront the threat of global socio-political, economic and ecological crisis in Russia, whose economy is in its development is focused on the transition to a sustainable development model. Noted that factor in the success of economic reforms in the country and an adequate response to global challenges should consider the education system, implementing interactive technologies in the process of professional training that meets the requirements of the time.

Examines the impact of sanctions on Russia’s economic development on the example of the dynamics of GDP, inflation and capital flight. The conclusion about the economic slowdown in Russia and the slowdown in economic activity. As one of the key tools for support and development of the economy of the proposed network of territories of advanced development (TPD), which will allow for efficient use of limited resources and achieve rapid economic growth in the context of the sanctions policy of the West. The analysis of the scientific potential of the far Eastern Federal district, on the territory of which will be created the first TPD, and identified pilot projects aimed at the development of the district as a whole.
