The theoretical, methodological, conceptual and methodological foundations of educational security – a new direction in the theory and practice of national security. The conceptual apparatus of educational security, the principles and criteria of its maintenance are developed; the types of educational security and the corresponding threats are defined, the mechanism of monitoring, control and ensuring educational safety is offered.

Directions of transformation of professional competencies in the new type economy

The directions of researching the knowledge economy as a new type of economy are systematized. It is shown that the formation of a new type of economy increases the uncertainty caused by the asymmetry of information in the production of education as an economic good. The possibilities to reduce this uncertainty are considered on the basis of the application of foresight and the development of professional standards. The basic directions of transformation of the competences of the professional in the knowledge economy are justified. The promising areas of further research are formulated.

The directions of researching the knowledge economy as a new type of economy are systematized. The model is approved on data on Primorsky Krai, assessment of her statistical importance and validity is received. The forecast of development of the situation in the region for the next three years taking into account the submitted offers is made.
