Тhe article presents an attempt to develop a comparable database of indicators and criteria for monitoring economic universities. The developed monitoring system allows to take into account the specifics of the profile of the University, aimed at training for the economy. The article highlights the indicators and criteria for assessing the potential of economic universities on the basis of the analysis of the external and internal environment, an algorithm for comprehensive evaluation of economic universities.
