Universities’ expansion: global trends and effectiveness of penetration to foreign markets

The article deals with the problems of expansion of universities to the World markets and the effectiveness of functioning of the leading World universities’ subdivisions abroad. Main models of functioning of international divisions of universities are described. The classification of HEIs with foreign subdivisions and HEIs which are not involved into international educational activities is presented and described. The brightest examples of HEIs international subdivisions are shown.

The article deals with the problems of expansion of universities to the World markets and the effectiveness of functioning of the leading World universities’ subdivisions abroad. Main models of functioning of international divisions of universities are described. The classification of HEIs with foreign subdivisions and HEIs which are not involved into international educational activities is presented and described. The brightest examples of HEIs international subdivisions are shown.
