It is shown that the economic efficiency of artificial intelligence in higher education is nonlinear in nature. System analysis of the problem of artificial intelligence in education is carried out from the standpoint of philosophical and economic approach. The thesis is substantiated that university employees may find themselves in a situation of difficult economic choice, associated with a decrease in the efficiency of their intellectual and managerial labor compared to the activity of AI.

The article presents the results of a sociological study of student satisfaction factors with the quality of the educational environment and the educational process of the university, conducted in 2022 at the Siberian Federal University. The questionnaire survey studied the opinions of 1,500 students, used a quota sample, representative in the direction of training, level and courses of study. The authors concluded about the main factors of students’ satisfaction with the quality of the educational process at the university.

The article reveals the main factors determining the level and nature of differentiation of salaries of teachers of higher education. It is shown that the overall positive dynamics of the level of remuneration of the teaching staff of universities is accompanied by a change in the structure of incentives for teachers. Such differentiation parameters as regional distribution, teachers’ job positions, academic degrees and titles, as well as the disciplines taught are considered.
