Using of project approach in individual educational paths forming

Аннотация / Annotation:
Modern higher education requires combination of individualization and professionalization. The authors of the article propose using project approach for forming of individual educational paths. This approach implies that a student will pass a set of projects with different levels of specialization that will be resulted in identifying potential skills of the student and the choice of future profession can be made. The article contains a conceptual model of educational process based on abovementioned hypothesis. Also it has an example of the model implementation.

The article considers the CDIO approach, the prospects of its development, the possibilities of its application to new engineering specialties. There is proposed a solution how to realize the possibility of generalization of CDIO context to new engineering specialties; adaptation to non-educational curricula; partial application of the approach. The application of the CDIO approach to second and third level programs in Europe and Latin America is being also considered.

There is proposed a structure of terms that contains concepts divided into two groups: the first group is hierarchically subordinate (divided into seven levels: inventiveness, hearsay, awareness, literacy, training, extensive reading, erudition) and the second group is “general” or “integral” (development, system-maturity, enlightenment, learning, competence).

In this paper, the application of models and procedures for interval estimation of knowledge control results in computer systems using the methods of law-based binomial distribution and geometric distribution as a special case of negative binomial distribution is considered. A new transition from point estimates of the empirical frequency of successful execution of test tasks to interval estimates of the probability of this success is proposed.
