The problem of the formation of reading literacy in teaching physics

The article analyzes the problem of the formation of reading literacy among students in teaching physics. The work on the formation of reading literacy in teaching physics is closely related to the task of mastering students’ ability to work with texts of physical content. The ability to work with scientific and popular science texts is tested in all subjects as part of the state final certification for the course of the basic school and in all-Russian test papers, international studies.

The semantic, substantive and transforming possibilities of pedagogical study of local lore in the regional educational system of the Orenburg region are determined.

An appeal to the creative heritage of great teachers, such as Academician of the Russian Academy of Education, Doctor of Pedagogical Sciences L.I. Novikova, once again proves that the system of pedagogical values and guidelines developed by them and embedded in their concepts and theories represent the enduring value of today, the foundation of modern education and the prospects for its development in the future. The study of historical and pedagogical knowledge through personalities, their pedagogical creative experience allows us to identify them with specific socio-cultural conditions and realities of our time, to solve urgent problems of education and make predictions in the development of such difficult pedagogical phenomena.
