The purpose of the article is to present the essence of the reflexive-environmental approach and substantiate its choice as a methodological basis in the study of the possibilities of personalized education aimed at developing the personal potential of students. The results of the study are presented, which make it possible to position the reflexive-environmental approach as a new direction in the study, theoretical and experimental, of the phenomena of «personalized education» and «personal potential».

This potential can be used for effective formation and development of future engineers’ professional competency.

Methodology of Preparation for Chess Teachers

There is no indication to methodological support necessity for chess teachers. We propose to adopt the multilevel conception of methodological knowledge (MCMK) as a methodological foundation for training chess teachers. The implementation of MCMK constructive function allowed to identify four areas of chess knowledge (philosophy of chess, psychology of chess, theory of chess, methods of chess), which are sequentially considered in the article.

This technology contributes to the development of such supra-professional competencies as the ability to work in a team, communicative and organizational and managerial qualities.
