This work covers a problem of development of preliminary sustainability of a reserve officer in educational conditions of a civil university. The phenomenon of preliminary sustainability is represented as a result of psychological training, which is an integral part of educational process at a university. A need and ways of improvement of psychological training are determined. Methods of psychological training developing content parameters of preliminary sustainability of a reserve officer are set and approved.
