Study of the discipline «Theory and methods of selected kind of sport (acrobatics)» on the basis of competence approach involves a significant enhancement of practical orientation sessions. The actual problem of preparation of future specialists on sports acrobatics is the search for and development of effective technologies and ways of organic interrelation of learning in the University with practical activities. Competence-based approach in the classroom for their chosen sport is realized with the help of the problem and heuristic methods of training, that have a significant impact on the qualitative aspect of knowledge of students in learning acrobatic exercises.

The article is devoted to the necessity of study and improvement of pedagogical technology of the teacher as a factor in increasing the efficiency of the educational process. For these purposes we propose to use interactive maps-image. Maps should be placed on websites that will contribute to prompt update of the information and bring it to the teachers. Multimedia features to use when working with a map and sites, will allow the teacher to become actively engaged in self-study, reflection on one’s own teaching techniques, and effective interactivity to independently control the sequence and pace of study material. The described method of study of pedagogical techniques can be used as a practicing teachers of various educational institutions, especially in lightly populated territories and students of pedagogical universities.
