Methodology for auditing syllabi to assess the communicative competence of dental students

The article substantiates the methodology for auditing academic discipline syllabi, aimed at identifying, assessing, and systematizing measures for developing communicative competence in dental students. The methodology involves three stages of its implementation, including an audit of teaching strategy, teaching tactics, and learning assessment. An audit plan for evaluating syllabi to assess the formation of communicative competence and an expert checklist are proposed. An example of the audit results for the syllabus of the discipline “Oncological Dentistry and Radiation Therapy” is provided.
