A method of solving a problem of reasoned selection of contents of a fundamental component of a course of physics for technicians is considered in the article. Combinations of the most valuable educational elements are set on a basis of an expert judgement of existing concepts, principles, rules, and models by professional physicians and teachers; and it enables to imporve competence-oriented contents of education.
