Franchising as a form of higher eduaction development

It is generally accepted that not only business but also higher education is influenced by globalization. In many countries higher education is an important source of export and profit accordingly, because university campuses attract students from the whole world. Selling of licenses to make educational services and give recognized academic degrees (as franchising) is based on direct foreign investments and a number of universities having branches abroad has increased many times. There is a parallel between globalization in business and this one in higher education. Economic mechanisms of globalization concerning higher education (demand and supply on educational services market in particular) are analyzed in the article. Tendency of commercialization of higher education leads to its internationalization.

The basic constituents of structural components of quality of educational process are exposed in the institute of higher which are innovative object of the assessment.
