A value of search and implementation of effective technologies of social partnership providing implementation of practice-oriented education, training of competitive graduates, whose professional competences are in accordance with state, social and employer’s standards in innovative activity of a modern university, is described in the article. The results of sociological questionnaires conducted by the author independently and as a member of a research group are given. Main directions of activity of a modern university in implementation of social partnership, actual problems and tasks of development of social partnership are considered.

Specifics of scientific and research training for students in technical university are considered in the article. Conditional separation in accordance with a degree of participation in scientific and research work is described. Main parameters of effectivness of work of students’ scientific societies are determined. Ways of solving a problem of reduction of terms of conducting scientific and research works and contract works by inclusion of students and master’s dgree students into a process, are proposed. An issue of continuity of generations of bachelor’s and master’s degree students taking into account scientific works on a specific topic, is considered in the article. Experience of a group from the department of APP Karaganda State Technical University in organization of scientific and research works, is represented.
