Problems of determination of professional reliability of officers of drug enfrcement agencies are considered in the article. A structure of reliability , its parameters and their influence on effectiveness of professional activity of officers are set. A recruitment system is analyzed. Intelligent, emotional, will, communicative, and motivation aspects of personal and professional reliability of personnel are determined. A typical portrait of an officer, who has a low level of reliability, is described. A model of formation of professional reliability of personnel is developed, and checking of its effectiveness is made.
