Education is a specific sector of the economy. An important direction of improvement of education management is the use of a program method of education, involving the development of a single target program of education management at all levels. Such program should not be viewed as a return to the administrative-command system of management, and as the only possible tool the target organization of large-scale systems of work in market conditions.

Objective structured assessment of surgical skills

Аннотация / Annotation:
This article describes the method of the objective structured assessment of surgical skills, which includes two stages. During the first stage teacher prepares tasks, containing the clinical problem, and tasks for fulfilling prescription lists and multi-criteria assessment checklists, expressing value of every component of the assessment. During the second step teacher carries out registration of response components or demonstration of skills in the assessment checklists. Method provides a reduction in personnel and time-consuming and has a high level of objectivity of assessment.

The paper proves the necessity to introduce integration processes in medical schools. The main issues of integration approach in medical education abroad are presented here. The eleven stages of integration in medical education were determined and described. They are isolation, awareness, harmonization, nesting, temporal co-ordination, sharing, correlation, complementary, multi-disciplinary, inter-disciplinary, and trans-disciplinary.

In article given various aspects of development of the Russian education in a modern society are discussed. The problem of the Russian education excites today not only scientists, but also ordinary citizens that gives to it a special urgency and an acuteness. The importance of educational policy of the state is defined by priorities which are put today before a society by the Russian authority. Development of education in Russia is possible right now when significant financial assets are allocated for it. In clause problems of innovations in education, its modernizations, employment of graduates, prospects of development of technical colleges in conditions humanitarian knowledge are mentioned. Problems of modern Russian education are discussed and ways of their decision are offered.

Today in this region there are not only public universities but also private and more creative “schools” directly at the enterprises.

The paper presents the effect of demographic decline, at the end of XIX and the beginning of the XX century, on an education system, through a prism of results of the USE in natural-science subjects. Also we show the influence of the current situation on vocational education and, in particular on pedagogical. As the confirmation of this tendency is the small percent of the young specialists, bachelors and masters who have found the job position corresponding to education in the educational organization and a large number of vacancies.

The Russian practice shows the limited use of foreign literature by students, which negatively affects the quality of their academic writing. The solution to this problem requires an integrated approach based on cooperation between the special departments and the foreign language department (textbooks preparation, scientific seminars, etc.).
