The article reveals modern approaches to stimulating the publication activity of the faculty of Russian universities. The problems of forming the publication policy of universities, as well as the practice of using the main tools for stimulating publication activity are analyzed. The satisfaction of teachers with the system of incentive payments is assessed. The need for the formation of new organizational and managerial mechanisms to stimulate the publication activity of teachers in modern conditions is substantiated.

The article is devoted to the identification of the register of linguo-cognitive skills, which should be mastered by non-philology students in the process of teaching foreign-language scientific communication. The definitions of “linguo-cognitive skills” (or the skills of analytical and synthetic processing of information) are proposed. Scientific classifications of linguo-cognitive skills based on two types of thinking (analysis and synthesis) and speech acts are developed.

The paper presents the results of a content analysis of scientific publications using the term «mobile learning». The initial materials of the study were publications on mobile learning published in the period 2014-2024, selected by the method of repeated random selection. The information array included 163 electronic documents. Based on the conducted content analysis, a sample was compiled, which made it possible to create a conceptual and categorical field of the term «mobile learning».

The article presents the results of a study devoted to the study of the possibilities of cognitive control of attention when presented with the stimulus cards «color» and «color-word» variants of Stroop’s technique. Based on the data obtained, students of different ethnic groups who speak different languages have two levels of interference severity. It is shown that the phenomenon of interference is provided by the speed of reaction upon presentation of a new stimulus and the peculiarities of verbal-speech and sensory-perceptual personality traits.
