The ratio and interrelation of objective and subjective reasons for the professional well-being of university teachers is shown. Objective factors include a relatively low level of remuneration, a significant amount of documentation and reporting, high psycho-emotional stress, job cuts. Subjective professional well-being is also determined by socio-cultural factors and age differences between teachers.
