The author provides a detailed analysis of the consequences of the introduction of new digital technologies, suggests options and ways to mitigate the severity of this problem.

The article discusses the methodological aspects of teaching programming and the basics of robotics in the framework of the distance learning course «Lego programming». The tasks of the learning process are highlighted, the components of the developed course and teaching methods are defined. The methodology of using Moodle SDS in the educational process based on a personal approach is substantiated. Two main conditions for the effectiveness of the methodology for using this course have been identified.
