The psychological and pedagogical features of educational activity of the pedagogical universities students on the computer modeling lessons, considering of which will allow to increase the effectiveness of training, are discussed. It is shown, that raising of the students’ motivation can be provided by: 1) the substantial components, selection of the knowledge-intensive teaching tasks; 2) the variability of actions at creation of models and realization of computing experiment; 3) the stimulation of mental activity by questions and estimations.
