Ways to minimize negative trends by purposefully forming the professional responsibility of a university student have been described. The provisions reflecting the peculiarities of the formation of professional responsibility of the future specialist in modern conditions are described.

The Problem of Innovation in Mass Education

An attempt has been made to critically examine the problems of implementing innovations in mass education, which combines three models – traditional, Prussian, Anglo-American. The traditional model is not change-oriented, the Prussian one only modernizes its control system, the Anglo-American one mechanically introduces technological innovations. The possibilities of pedagogical innovation will appear only when the child, the value of freedom and the ability to think independently will be at the center of pedagogy.

An analysis of the state of the country’s economy shows that one of the conditions for an economic breakthrough is the innovative development of mechanical engineering based on the use of automated technologies. A conclusion is made about the transfer of engineering personnel training to new education models that ensure the quality of training for the high-tech sector of the economy. The structure of an innovative educational program is proposed as training for automated technologies and production.
