The article reveals the development of new conceptual approaches to teaching students of non-linguistic & non-humanitarian specialties the Russian language. The deconstructive processes in education caused by the delayed reflection of changes in the educational environment and leading to the deformation of the concept “the Russian language” are identified. The ways of overcoming negative tendencies in teaching/ learning Russian in non-linguistic universities are suggested, namely: the rejection of objectivity of the Russian language, the perception of the Russian language as ideology and its metapragmatic function that form a universal language environment of the University.

Abstract. The article discusses an educational technique, which is used by the so-called vocation oriented foreign language teaching at tertiary level and contributes to profession oriented self-analysis. It belongs to the group of educational methods which sustain autonomous learning of students by the vocation-oriented autonomous studying of foreign languages in a language university. The essence of the technique is methodology of writing and analyzing a “vocational reflexive essay”. The article describes the steps of writing, a possible structure and special aspects of analyzing of the essay. A concrete example of the essay is provided and discussed.

Abstract: This article dwells on the problem related with opportunities to get an artistic education at the turn of the XIX-XX on the example of studying period of sculpturer, the founder of one of the largest dynasties of Moscow sculpture school, Mitrofan Sergeevich Rukavishnikov. He was an example of adaptation to the new strategy for Russia in artistic education concluded in an independent choice of the workshop for professional internship and also to get a further artistic education , as casual student , (including abroad) without official diploma. Nevertheless, this innovative approach to educational process allowed not only to master a technic side of chosen artistic profession fully (here – sculpture), but also to concentrate the attention to search his own way while studying.

Abstract. An important role in the educational process is the creation of a positive emotional spirit among students. This facilitates the use of different methods of verbal manipulation that cause students’ positive emotions, positive emotions because it helps to create an atmosphere of trust, a student to communicate, to interact with the teacher in the conditions of educational activities and increase the level of motivation. The purpose of this article is to reveal the specifics of verbal manipulation based on the verbalization of positive emotions in the pedagogical process and to determine their impact on the motivation of students.
