A COLLEGIATE ENVIRONMENT IN HIGHER EDUCATION

Аннотация / Annotation:
An issue of development of students’ collegiate environment in higher education as an element of didactics of an educational process is conisdered in the article. Any graduate will work in a collegiate environment but sometimes it is impossible to have such skills at a university because there is a teacher between a student and his/her classmates. Information and web-technologies provide functionality for using an individual approach and unlimited students’ communications. Teachers do not have routine and can take scientific and creative projects such as creatiuve tasks, discussion issues, criteria of assessments of students’ works. Teachers should monitor educational activity in students collegiate environment without interferences and breaking borders if there are no delicts and violations. A collegiate environment includes also assessment of written works such as essys, reports, educational tasks, course works and practice reports. There is no teacher’s subjectivism, no bribes and patronage. An educational environment exists without deceits and delicts.

The target of a reaserch described in the article is development of principles increasing utility of a course ‘Institutional Economy’ in conditions of federal state standards for higher professional education. Investigating a nature of utility of a course, factors, and problms of methodical and content character of practice of studying in new conditions the new principles of increasing utility of a course are developed. These principles are based on on-line experience of utlization of a methodology of institutionalism and achieving a synergetic effect by means of studying alternative methodological concepts. Key aspects of an approach implemented by authors based on developed principles in a part of studying conceptual fundamentals of institutional economy are described.

The article covers a problem of development of independent activity of students in a modern process of education at a university. Necessity of development of integrative methodological instruments is set; and these instruments include a set of methodological approaches such as historic-genetic, system, personal-activity, competence, modular, and a poly-environemntal one. An advantage of integrative methodology enabling to show dialectics of development of independent activity in a process of education is set; and it is represented as a series of pedagogic phenomemna that determine necessity of transfer of the existing theory of independent activity to another level – a level of integrative unity.
