The article focuses on the main problems discussed at the seminar “Science as the basis of the XXIst century school” with international participation held on May 20-21, 2019 at Institute for Cybernetics and Informatics in Education of Federal Research Centre “Computer Science and Control” of the Russian Academy of Sciences (RAS), Moscow, Russia. The objectives of the seminar, which brought together more than 150 participants from Russia, as well as a few educators from Kazakhstan, Vietnam, Saudi Arabia and Canada, were to exchange experience of co-operation between educational organizations and structures of the RAS.

The article shows the possibility of introducing modules on the organization of active and subject-oriented training into the programs of additional professional education. The author notes that it is necessary to introduce acmeological training into the system of professional development of the teaching staff of educational organizations. Through this training, the subject-subject interaction of the presenter and the participant is carried out, all this together contributes to the formation of practice-oriented competencies, which undoubtedly has a positive impact on the pedagogical potential of the teaching staff.

The purpose of the study is to determine the quality of the educational process in the Scientific and Educational Center through an assessment of its graduates. The results of a survey of graduates are presented and analyzed. In conclusion, the ways of further development are identified for the qualitative improvement of the activities of the Scientific and Educational Center.

The article determines the factor value of gender competence of students of pedagogical faculties. As a theoretical significance, the directions of a monitoring system for measuring the gender competence of students, including personality orientation, theoretical and practical activities, the student’s integration into extracurricular activities, are disclosed. The basis of gender analysis, as part of the study, is the methodological provisions of the egalitarian concept. The criteria of an egalitarian type of worldview are highlighted. The parameters of the egalitarian type of consciousness and egalitarian relations in the field of education are determined. The leading principles of the formation of gender competence of students of pedagogical faculties are revealed.
