The technique of modeling of innovative development of the Russian educational complex (REC) in the context of the information society-WA. Despite of the significant improvement in the quality of statistical machine translation, modern SMT systems continue to do syntactic and semantic errors peculiar to machine translation. The solution to this problem requires the creation of new ways of language and translation modeling, the ability to extract the best possible translation from the corpus data. The article aims to trace the development of methods for natural language processing in machine translation, to determine the degree of elaboration of SMT models and its prospects. Various approaches to the modeling of machine translation with the justification of the advantages and disadvantages of each model were investigated. The concept of «universal semantic hierarchy», which was first successfully applied in late 2014 by ABBYY company was explained.
