The article deals with the possibility of using cinema in education as a technology of bioethical consciousness formation. The relevance of the problem is determined by the high demand for the formation of professional and ethical competences of students and the demand for the on-screen presentation of information in education. The potential and imperfections, as well as spheres of application of “film method” are discussed. It is shown that one of the film techniques and mechanisms of bioethical consciousness formation is a dilemma. The described technology can be applied in secondary and higher educational institutions as a tool for the development of subjectivity and bioethical consciousness.

Using Authentic Texts in Professionally Oriented Training with Economists as a Mandatory Element of Linguistics

The article substantiates the need for the correct choice of authentic sources when training the language of specialty with economists-to-be. Definitions and functions of authentic texts are given as well as some sources that may be of practical interest for students in economic science. It is concluded that the habit of working only with genuine foreign language materials helps specialists to adapt quickly to their workplace and join the process of communication with foreign stakeholders.

The article presents the results of research on the formalization and automation of the process of developing a graduate competence model in preparation for master’s degree programs. The main elements necessary for the formation of the model, the stages and procedure for its development, as well as the shortcomings of the existing order defined in the current regulatory legal acts are identified. A conceptual apparatus has been developed, a choice of mathematical apparatus has been made, the modification of which will allow for the scientifically based formation of competence models.

The authors propose to consider children’s prank as a valuable pedagogical resource and turn to the Soviet pedagogical heritage through the prism of caricature and humorous illustration. The caricature in this case is a particularly interesting source, since it itself, in its essence, is a prank, i.e. a breakdown of the boundaries of what is permissible, and, like any satire– is a trigger valve of aggression, an instrument of soft power.
