The article presents the results of a study of parental expectations of educational achievements of children with Down’s syndromeт attending school or kindergarten. In addition, compares the results of a study of parent-child relationship with the parent expectations of academic achievements. The results, according to which parents in the sample are more concerned about the language development of their children and social inclusion than academic performance.

Predictors ontological confidence in adolescence

The article considers the theoretical basis of the problem of ontological uncertainty-confidence and related ontological concepts of “the sovereignty of psychological space” and “self” as predictors of the personality development of adolescents living in the orphanage. Describes the empirical research of the ontological confidence of adolescents living in the orphanage. Empirically proven that a low level of ontological confidence as the system properties are not only interconnected and interdependent with sovereignty of psychological space and the self-attitude of adolescents living in the orphanage, but according to the theoretical model of the ontological confidence are predictors, which determine its formation.

The article discusses the ratio of professionally-psychological selection the problem of safety of the educational environment of a higher educational institution. In their work the authors consider educational space through the system of psychological threats and risks. In addition, the article formed an idea of professionally-psychological selection as the tool of support of psychological security of the educational environment of the University. In General, the authors develop the ideas of the readers about the system of professional psychological selection, contributing to the creation of safe educational environment aimed at the development, training and education of students in interaction with all subjects of educational process.

The article deals with the topical scientific theory of integral knowledge and the parallel realization of the latter in teaching process. Being different both conceptually and namely from the related term of “interdisciplinary”, the notions of “integrality” and “integral knowledge” do not mean the mere juxtaposition of various fields of knowledge and methods of their teaching. It implies creation of a harmonic, holistic vision of the object under study, the one aimed at the result of such coinage and based on this result obtaining exceptionally new data at a higher level of scientific truth. Illustration of a concept of integral teaching by combining culture studies with the course of management, or putting it more exactly, application of the former ones at managerial classes, mutually enriches both subjects, predetermines the greater scope of material coverage, contributes to obtaining new results, the vision of new horizons, and, thus, appears to be of a greater adequacy to the requirements of the 21st century research and its application to the University teaching process.

The analysis of empirical data assessing the level of general awareness of russians using a test of general knowledge (TOZ)

The paper presents the empirical results of the initial adaptation assessment test of General awareness on the sample of respondents from three regions of Russia. A comparison of the level of awareness of Russians and representatives of the Anglo-Saxon sample according to R. Lynn. The analysis of knowledge subjects depending on sex and age. The example of development based on the test TOZ reduced its adapted variant. The study made a number of procedural and substantive conclusions about the test and its application in psychological practice.

Education and individual life expectancy

In article the theoretical analysis of a problem is carried out, and also influence of a factor of education on individual life expectancy at the monogerminal twins living in our country mainly in the 20th century is empirically studied. By means of the dispersive analysis it was shown that education, really, promotes increase in term of life of the individual, thus for selection of persons is more senior than 50 years influence of a factor of education on life expectancy only increases. Life expectancy is affected by three factors: heredity, environment and personality. We referred education to factors of the personality.

Typology of life strategies juvenile probationers

The article notes that the problem of studying the life strategies has a long history and originates in the foreign and domestic philosophical views. Category “life strategy” and its various aspects are also presented in the sociological and psychological studies. It clarified that the majority of psychological research challenges of life strategies of the individual under investigation as a complex phenomenon determined by the holistic education and the experimental study highlighted the various components as their structural components. Based on the fundamentals and KA Research Abulkhanova-Slavska defines life strategy conditionally convicted of a minor, which is understood as an integrative personal education that meets the subject criteria: awareness of the past, present and future, the presence of social norms and values-oriented, activity, responsibility and skills of law-abiding behavior. Briefly describe the differences in the structure of law-abiding intrapsychic, and conditionally convicted juveniles. Determined component structure and highlighted the types of life strategies probation minors. Based on the characteristics of each type, proposed priority areas of psycho-pedagogical influence.
