This linguistic phenomenon is illuminated by the author from theoretical (psycholinguistic), and from a practical point of view, for example, bilinguals, living in the Northern part of the Republic of Senegal and owns the country’s official language (French) and the language of their ethnic group (Wolof). The paper presents a General typology of bilingual pairs and formulated the criteria underlying the determination of the type of bilingualism the members of this pair of languages (Wolof/French). Analyzes the psycholinguistic aspects of identity that allows you to select one of the languages of bilingual pairs as the native language of the individual.

The study involved 172 people (155 male and 17 female) professional drivers and motorists aged 19 to 67 years, with a driving experience of one year to 42 years and a total of 3000 to 270,000 kilometers per year.
