Value-semantic component of university students’ readiness for parenthood: current state and research prospects

Аннотация / Annotation:
The article examines the role of value-semantic orientations in the formation of psychological readiness for parenthood among university students. Modern studies devoted to values and meanings, various approaches to understanding and defining these categories are analyzed. It is shown that the value-semantic sphere is a key factor determining the motivation, responsibility and emotional maturity of future parents. The significance of the value-semantic sphere of the personality of young people in the process of forming psychological readiness for parenthood is noted.

The article highlights the importance of studying the personality traits of primary school students with different levels of psychological security. The authors present the results of an empirical study that confirms the prevalence of such personality traits as social activity, volitional self-control, independence, and diligence among primary school students with a high level of psychological security. The article also provides recommendations for working with primary school students with different levels of psychological security.

This article substantiates that digital literacy and self-regulation jointly predict success in project-based learning. A conceptual model of direct, mediator, and moderator relationships is presented, and mechanisms of influence and contextual factors are described. Methodological guidelines for verification and practical recommendations for diagnostics, microinterventions, assessment, and pedagogical support are outlined.

A four-stage model of educational transformation (perception, integration, skill development, qualification practice) is considered from the point of view of approaches from various sciences: neuroscience, cognitive psychology and pedagogy. The necessity of integrating the data of neurobiology and cognitive psychology into the educational process is substantiated.

The article is devoted to the results of an empirical study of the relationship between cognitive styles and empathy among teachers. A reliable relationship has been established between the cognitive style of «field dependence/field independence» and the subscales of affective empathy – proximal and peripheral sensitivity. Based on the results of the study, recommendations have been compiled for educational organizations to develop teachers' empathic abilities.

Dishonesty refers to the use of unethical practices related to academic activities. This article presents the results of an empirical study on the attitudes toward academic dishonesty among psychology students and students of pedagogical specialties. The findings indicate that future educators are more lenient toward instances of academic dishonesty compared to future psychologists. Clearly, such an attitude among future educators requires serious correction.
