Conceptual approach to development of a competence model of modern teacher’s professional activity

Modernization of Russian system of education is based on necessity of development of ideas and principles, new concepts, models of professional activity of a teacher. A model of a new type of a teacher as a developer of a main educational program is considered in the article from the position of a competence approach. It is concluded that analysis of qualitative and quantative set of competences is a base of a system of requirements to professional image of a modern teacher.

A way and results of actions and readiness of future teahcers to develop schoolchildren’s research skills and knowledge and to organize their research activity are described in the article. Implementation of such students’ training is possible on the basis of using ideas of research education, when a student gets necessary knowledge through an algorythm of a scientific search, i.e.: finds contradictions in a studied event or subject, sets a problem, finds ways of solution, conducts an experiment, processes and interpretes experiment’s results, makes conclusions and generalizations.

Positive relation of teachers as a factor of resistance to burnout

It is stated that positive relation is a valuable and conceptual resource of resistance to personal and professioanl burnout. Resistance to reduction of personal achievements (a subfactor of burnout) are those teachers, who have high rates in such scales as ‘self-assurance’ and ‘self-interest’ in differentiated relation to themselves and high rates in a subscale ‘self-interest’ as readiness to act. It is proved that a degree of burnout depends on a level of self-perception and valuable relation to own interests.
