The article substantiates the need for a flexible response of training and professional development of psychologists to the rapidly changing conditions of operational and official activities of the employees of the internal Affairs bodies. The use of situational approach in training contributes to the formation of psychologists professional competencies and the development of professional and important qualities of the individual, necessary to assist employees and ensure the effectiveness of activities in problematic situations.

The assumption that anxiety can be reduced or supported by certain categories of spending is checked. The article describes an empirical study of the relationship between the system of cadet’s expenses and the level of their anxiety. Conclusions about the reasons contributing to this are made.

It was revealed that the employees of the internal Affairs bodies with the experience of service as a head (from 3 to 5 years) are diagnosed as a higher level of integrative mental burnout, and the severity of its individual components.
