Self-organization of children and adults at educational institutions and at the place of their registration: psychological and pedagogical accompaniment

Аннотация / Annotation:
Aspiration of children and adults to self-organization at educational institutions and at the place of their registration creates a necessity of special research and psychological and pedagogical support of this social and cultural phenomenon. The article shows the significance of the development of fostering education space and form of educational organization as a condition for formation of self-regulation skills in students. The logic of psychological and pedagogical accompaniment of self-organization in the process of tutorials based on the principals of individualization and openness, absence of evaluative opinions and satisfaction of educational needs; active, reflexive and eventful approaches was shown. The need to apply the methods of the system and problem-oriented analysis, expert assessments, the analysis of operating results of the tutorant and precedents, survey and interview, socratical dialog, best practices is explained.

Fostering value and meaning attitude to profession in the students as the key purpose of higher pedagogical education

The article presents the results of the research on fostering value and meaning attitude to teacher’s profession in the students in the context of higher education purposes. The research shows the interconnection between the attitude under study and quality of students’ educational activity, their professional identity and successful realization; the study also gives grounding to the importance of fostering value and meaning attitude to teacher’s profession in the future teachers and its role in increasing the quality of professional pedagogical training. The study covers core components and the essence of value and meaning attitude to teacher’s profession in the students on the basis of systemic, acmeological, and culturological approaches. Applied aspect of the problem under study can be put to practice in developing the educational problems, improving of academic and extra-curricular activities of Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees students of pedagogical major.

Interpersonal conflicts in the representations of teenagers with deviant behavior

The article presents the results of theoretical and empirical research on the representations of teenagers with deviant behavior on phenomenon of conflict. The study covers the term, structure, dynamics of conflicts, proves the significance of the image of conflict, participants’ ideas of it helping to perform the conflict interaction, peculiarities of the conflict situation progress and solving. The research points out the specific features of interpersonal conflicts between teenagers, their destructive and constructive functions, importance of constructive flow of a conflict for the development of teenager’s personality, formation of interpersonal relationships, cooperative activities, etc. The author comes to the conclusion on fragmentary nature and lack of conciseness of the idea of a conflict in the teenagers.

The impact of psychoemotional state and personality traits on the choice of coping behavior strategies

The article discusses the dependence between personal qualities and coping behavior strategies. Some personal qualities such as self-attitude, readiness to risk, social adaptation, psychoemotional state were analyzed. The interrelation between personal qualities and coping behavior strategies was pointed out. Factor analysis allowed to elicit four types of personality depending on correlation of prevailing qualities and coping behavior strategies: «active», «dependent», «passive», «hostile».

The article discusses approaches to determination of special aspects of social and psychological adaptation of physically challenged students in academic environment of higher education institution. The research results cover the difficulties of adaptation period and typical problems of physically challenged students taught among the students having no health issues. The article represents the distribution of physically challenged students and students having no health issues over the levels of social and psychological adaptation. The work demonstrates the need of running a research on personal adjustment mechanisms and case monitoring of the process.

Special features of social and psychological stereotypes in students of pedagogical specialties

The article analyses the phenomenon of social and psychological stereotype and its role in educational and pedagogical interaction. We described the conditions of stereotype ideas appearance, their functions in human life. We offered the authorial original modification of the method of «multiple identification» by V. F. Petrenko to study the content of social and psychological stereotypes. The article presents the results of the empirical research of the content of stereotype ideas of students (future teachers of primary school N=22) about school children. We discovered the facts that students have some stereotype ideas connected to their professional belonging and a social status of their pupil’s family. We found out that there are no stereotypes connected to pupil’s nationality or religion.

Life strategies of personality in the context of professional self-actualization: psychological-acmeological approach

Psychological-acmeological approach to the study of life strategies of personality in the process of professional development is seen through the explanation of three categories: “life path”, “acmeologic nature of the life path” and “professional self-actualization of personality”. In empirical study university professors of Saratov (N = 51) were involved. According to the results of research, the authors managed to trace peculiarities of life strategies of the professors depending on the level of self-actualization in scientific and educational activities. Based on correlation analysis the authors revealed key features of personality’s motivational structure depending on the life strategies and professional self-actualization. It is shown that the most productive strategy for professional self-actualization of university teachers is life strategy “creative uniqueness.”

Interrelation between visions of tolerance and personal characteristics of teachers

The paper presents the results of theoretical and empirical study on interconnection between personal qualities included into the content of tolerance and teachers concept (N=121 participants). Revealed interconnection between characteristics of the ideas about tolerance and personal qualities of teachers. Shows that in teachers perception of tolerance predominate the characteristics describing the contents of the ideas of tolerance, the number expands with age and experience. Among the substantial characteristics of tolerance the most frequent is forbearance, understanding and acceptance, patience and communication skills. The applied aspect of problem under study can be realized in preparation of psychological-pedagogical personnel to professional activity, as well counseling practice of psychological services dealing.

Ethno-psychological predictors of personality’s subjective well-being

The article presents the results of theoretical and empirical research on ethnic and civil identity related to subjective well-being with the different ethnic groups’ representatives. The study performed on proportionally picked sample group of the Russian, Kazakh, and Armenian ethnoses representatives of Saratov, Saratov Region (N=96, age 16-17)allowed to point out the types of convergence of ethnic and civil identity acting as grounds for differentiation of subjective well-being predictors in the sample groups under study. Applied aspect of the problem can be put to practice in development of psychological programs dealing with positive convergence of ethnic and civil identity, and also optimization of personality’s well-being.

Social and psychological characteristics of modern maternity: retrospective analysis

The article proves that the core reasons for family and maternity crisis are decrease in value significance of maternity in modern society, emancipation and change of women’s role in a family, spreading of common-law marriage forms, popularization of “Childfree” movement and hedonistic ideas in the youth subculture, generalization of quasi-planned family model. The study shows decrease in reproductive orientations, contradictory nature of matrimonial orientations, low prestige of maternity, acceptance of the “new” family forms (“common-law marriage”, “guest marriage”, etc.), etc.; rationalization of deviant maternity in the young women. Applied aspect of the problem under study can be put to practice when developing the programs aimed at preventing deviant maternity in modern society.

We considered the notion of “reputation of a personality” in the context of interdisciplinary scientific discourse. The theoretical analysis of reputation as a social and psychological phenomenon in the course of personal representations concepts of interaction “I – Another”. Reputation of a personality is determined as a cognitive and evaluative system of opinions about real, symbolic, personalized personalities of “Another”. Also reputation of a personality includes a steady set of cognitive designers and reflexive evaluations of this or that personality. Different types of reputation of a personality were exposed and the theoretical reflection analysis of social reputation of a person in the format of its content, functions, restrictions and impact on the formation of a personality identity, its development and self-evaluation, growth and self-determination was carried out.
