Intellect dynamics of distance universities students (longitudinal study)

Аннотация / Annotation:
The age dynamics of the intellect (rate of classification operations) of students depends on the previous education. The intellect ability of weak students grows up more than students with an initially high level. Students with an average baseline level of intellect reach a maximum growth in middle age, students with an initially high level show little dynamics with some increase in the older age group As for students with an initially low intellect, the maximum increase is observed at a young age (up to 20 years), then it decreases slightly and remains stable in older age groups.

New technologies for teaching children are introduced, teachers improve their skills and acquire new competencies. Inclusive education success often consists in teacher’s psychological readiness to work with a child with limited health opportunities. Personal factors of teachers with different levels of readiness for interaction with a child with limited health opportunities are studied.

Training mathematics without overloading working memory

The article is devoted to the analysis of one of the reasons for failure in mastering mathematics – the overload of working memory. It lists the known methods of reducing the load on the working memory, and also proposes to automate the basic computational operations (arithmetic, trigonometric, geometric) using computer simulators created by the author. This will reduce the load on the working memory when solving problems, free up its resources to search for solution algorithms, reduce the likelihood of errors and increase the speed of task execution.
