The problem of ensuring the unity of educational space of the Russian Federation – is one of the urgent problems of modern educational policy of the Russian Federation, one of the instruments which are the educational standards. This article analyzes the content of federal state educational standards of the 4th generation (GEF 3+) in terms of the unity of educational space of the Russian Federation. The conclusion is that the new federal state educational standards of the 4th generation (GEF 3+) are more likely to contribute to the destruction of a common educational space of the Russian Federation, rather than strengthen it. A number of measures improve the content of the new federal state educational standards.
