The spread of artificial intelligence (AI) poses new challenges to legal education. Students should not use the generated texts at the cost of losing critical analysis skills. At the same time, it cannot be denied that AI will become an integral part of their professional life, from the search for legal information to the preparation of documents. The university’s task is to find a reasonable compromise, teach how to handle AI, but not allow AI to replace learning.

The article is devoted to the importance of reviving the institution of supervisor in higher education to actively prevent various types of offenses in the student environment. The article focuses on the fact that today’s students are dire need of psycho-educational support and regular monitoring. Therefor the tasks of the supervisor became more extensive and important. Analyses of local regulatory acts made it possible to highlight the suctions tasks and directions of the curators work in the university.

Military necessity and humanitarian tradition: the first contradictions in Modern Times

The article analyzes the concepts of military necessity and humanitarian tradition in the period of armed conflicts in Modern times. It is concluded that military necessity is a principle of international humanitarian law (the law of war) associated with the possibility of derogation from international legal obligations governing the conduct of hostilities. According to one of the doctrines of international humanitarian law (the law of war), military necessity presupposes armed violence within the moral and legal limits of humanism and empathy.

The necessity of purposeful development of resistance to stress factors as the most important professional quality of cadets is substantiated.

Using general scientific and specialized research methods, this article analyzes the approaches of pre-revolutionary political scientists to understanding the place and role of socio-legal research and corresponding methods in legal research. It concludes that the inclusion of sociological research in dogmatic jurisprudence in general and in constitutional law in particular was perceived as a new and promising trend in the early years of the 20th century.
