The author concludes that the capitals of the Balkan states, unlike Berlin and Paris, were not prestigious centers for the placement of Russian graduates. The exception was the teachers of agrarian theory, plant breeding, agrochemistry and agricultural technology, agronomists, veterinarians, highly sought-after in the Balkan countries with a predominantly agrarian economy.
