In the presented article the analysis of actual questions of scientific research work of students is carried out. The author comes to the idea that independent work of students is an important element in obtaining education, t. allows students to learn to search for the necessary material, be able to work with it, properly allocate their own time. The article concludes that research activities are the main element of the educational process.

Professional development of a specialist in the field of socio-cultural activity is considered by the authors as a continuous progressive process of development of his social and professional qualities that promote effective communication with representatives of different cultural groups and social strata. In the article the problems of formation of professional qualities of a specialist in the sphere of socio-cultural activity, corresponding to the mobility of the modern labor market, are investigated. The authors come to the conclusion that in the educational process for the formation of the professional qualities of a specialist in the field of socio-cultural activities, it is necessary: to use forms of work whose nature is characterized by incompleteness (or openness) as opposed to “hard” and strictly controlled tasks; To rely on a variety of forms that promote independence and responsibility; focus on independently developed projects, observations, feelings, communication; pay special attention to individual forms of work.

The problem of studying the phenomenon of terrorism: the practical significance of the educational problem

The article is an attempt to understand the terrorism in the pedagogical aspect. The authors reputed that the cadets and officer cadets of Russian military educational establishments know precious little about the essence and history of terrorism. The paper provides a brief review of the history of terrorism in the Ancient world, in the Middle Ages and in modern age, adduced the facts of the terrorist practices of various Russian revolutionary organizations. Especially disclosed the peculiarities of the terrorist activities of the party of Socialists-Revolutionaries (SRs) at the beginning of the past century. It is noted that almost the entire history of Russia was known as anti-state terrorism (Narodnaya Volya, SRs) and state-backed terrorism (life-guards, «White» and «Red» Terror in Civil War, People’s Commissariat for Internal Affairs Terror in 1937). The researchers underline that terrorist acts are part of modern Russian life.

The authors express their point of view on the need for the use of the death penalty for specific offenses set forth in the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation, which are classified as grave and particularly serious crimes. The most important reason for the death penalty is the extreme cruelty of the crime, no one has any doubts about the proven guilt of the perpetrator, and the absence of the expected possible remorse.

Party and state activities on opening mosques in 1944-49 are analyzed in the article. The author finds that significant warming of the state-Muslim relations took place in the end of the Great Patriotic war and the first post-war years. As a result, Muslims began to play more prominent role in the social life of the country, especially as regards opening places of worship. Certain examples are provided that Muslims had mosques opened in their communities throughout the Soviet Union.

Soviet union regulations on the issuing and distribution of the islamic books published by muslim religious board during the period of 1944–1965

The article contains analysis of the Soviet state activities in administration of the Muslim religious board in the field of issuing the Islamic books during the period of 1944-1965. In spite of the high books publishing activities performed by the Muslim Spiritual Authorities located in the cities of Ufa and Tashkent it appeared impossible to satisfy the demands of all Soviet Muslims. It happened so due to the limited numbers of the books in each edition. Another reason for shortage was the demand from the governmental authorities to handover the certain part of the edition to various state departments in order to be presented as gifts to the foreigners which was supposed to create the image of the Soviet Union as a state with true freedom of conscience. At the same time due to the official ideology Soviet Union had no plans aimed at the satisfaction of the religious demands of the Muslims, especially in the issuing of the Islamic books which could give Muslims the answers for many questions.
