Methodological abilities of theoretical and legal analysis of special features of legal acts, which regulate various relations existing in a field of education, are considered in the article. The first precondition is representation of education as a social institute, which is a segment of legal dimension; and it determines fundament and specifics of legal regulation of relations in this field. The second precondition is related to extrapolation of statements of the theory of legal acts to a characteristic of educational and legal acts. The third precondition concerns such specific educational and legal event as educational and legal norm, which is a base for legal acts functioning in a field of education.
