An analysis of means and methods of communication between non-state universities and schools is given; their influence on choice of a university is described. The author represents the results of experimental researches in 2005-2008 years, which were used for production of recommendations for optimization of enrollment to non-state universities. It is stated that long-term communications with schools and their sustainability and activity are very important things for successful enrollment.

Typology of secondary employment of students in Murmansk is given on the basis of a cluster analysis. There are five groups of students varying for each other in their secondary employment intensity and a characteristic for each group is given. As a result it is shown that in practice there are various types of secondary employment. Some of them can be considered as successful adaptive strategies of students in market relations, facilitating students’ professional growth and employment after graduation. Others are low-effective strategies for employment and education. Therefore we have to use differentiated approach for supporting secondary employment of students.

The formation of future teacher’s communicative culture demands the complex approach and one of the first places in this system of education and upbringing of students is taken by the subject “Pedagogical oratory”. While studying this subject the future teacher learns definite competences (social, cultural and communicative), in other words he becomes a language personality. The necessity to include this subject in the curriculum of pedagogical universities is required by the results of the experiment “Monitoring of future primary school teacher’s communicative activity”, which was held from 2004 to 2009 at Ulyanovsk State University.
