Reproduction of the educational status of vocational education

The paper presents results of intergenerational research of students of vocational education and their parents. Comparison of the reason to choice of vocational education for students and parents is carried out. Study design allows for a comparison of the educational level of the students, their parents and grandparents. Authors show that now the system of secondary vocational education more often works on reproduction and reduction of educational status.

The quantitative characteristic of virtual communities in social networks, information on the number of followers and the launch time of the groups are also given. Besides that, the article highlights issues related to the content of virtual social communities and provides the results of group messages content analysis.

Modern schoolchildren’s ideas about the distribution of social and family roles between men and women

The article actualizes the problem of studying of modern schoolchildren’s ideas about the distribution of social and family roles between men and women. The results of the research study, conducted on a sample of 100 high school students, are described. It was found out that the vast majority of young men have a traditional masculine ideology regarding the distribution of social and family roles. Girls’ concepts in this issue are more egalitarian. The features of these concepts are described. The obtained data will help in the development and implementation of appropriate educational policy.
